MacWorld 08 - Everything in the air?

I stayed up 4a.m. Beijing time of 15th Jan. to watch the MacWorld 08. There is something in the air. Time capsual, Apple TV, itunes and iphone new features, Macbook Air, they all take advantage of newest wireless technology. Again, Apple introduced new, cutting edge products to consumers, they are great products, but I am a little bit disappointed. I am expecting the MacWorld for a couple of months since I planned to get an new notebook. I am looking forwards to see new version of Macbook Pro, which should be more powerful and lighter. I was thinking of new Peryn processor, 13.3 inch LED display, above 100GB SSD storage, HDMI port, weighted close to 1 kg. Macbook Air is very impressive, in terms of physical size. The weight of 1.36 kg is ok, but not as light as it looks. More importantly, the ultra slim MBA definitely compromise performance, so after several months waiting, I still don't have the absolute choice. The high end MBA should be acceptable, but has very poor value for money. Anyway, I still plan to get Time Capsule, a notebook Mac and a desktop Mac. Why, because only Apple offers perfect intergration of software and hardware. Well, Microsoft always excuse that although Windows has many flaws, however, it is great given that it is compatible to thousands of third-party hardware and software. Why should I bother that, I decide to switch to Apple to have peace of mind. OK, final decision will be made after seeing the real things and knowing real usage experience. Actually, I also expected to see a lot of other products such as new Cinema Display, iPhone 3G, iTablet or Mac touch...Maybe I expected too much from Apple. Keep it on, Apple, I still love you and will keeping watching. The WSJ impression:
